Invention to Venture Workshop in Orono

Maine’s second Invention to Venture workshop was held at the University of Maine in Orono on November 9, 2007. Invention to Venture: Maine at Orono was an introduction to the process and practice of technology entrepreneurship. I2V workshops are designed for sophisticated, technology-oriented undergrad and graduate students and interested faculty and alumni looking to develop technology-based products and businesses. They serve as a guide to tech business plan development and a vehicle for tech entrepreneurs to identify resources to start their ventures. I2V also provides an opportunity for regional and national businesses to engage with technology entrepreneurs at top colleges and universities, and to meet with potential investors.
